A nice warm and healthy way to start your day!
Oat bran really doesn't photograph well, but Ripley is pretty darn cute so I decided to show a photo of her sharing breakfast with me. We all know the importance of breakfast and this wholesome meal can be prepared in less then 5 minutes. The warm heartiness of the oat bran is flavored by soy yogurt and your fruit of choice resulting in a delicious warm meal that is under 300 calories.
Simply place 2/3 cups of water and a pinch of salt in a small sauce pan and bring the water to a boil. Stir in 1/3 cup oat bran, reduce heat to the lowest simmer and let cook for about 2 minutes. Stir in 1/2 container soy yogurt, just until heated through and fold in a piece of diced fruit. Delicious with many variances!

Vanilla soy yogurt, fresh mango and coconut.

Raspberry soy yogurt and an apple.

Peach soy yogurt and a banana.
