Delicious, fresh baked, whole-wheat walnut bread. Great served in so many ways.
For dinner, Wilson and I enjoyed this bread with a bottle of red wine and a few delectable artesian cheeses; Delice d’Argental, Buche Maitre Seguin, Mahon and Roquefort. The perfect dinner!

Excellent grilled for breakfast.
For dessert, how about an indulgent grilled chocolate sandwich with a dusting of powdered sugar! I am so bad, but it was so good :)

The last two pieces were turned into a grilled chocolate and banana sandwich. Yum!

Next time I'm thinking of adding dried sour cherries in addition to the walnuts. Maybe even a few chocolate chips....
I followed the no-knead bread recipe using 1 ½ cups whole-wheat bread flour and 1 ½ cups ap-flour and added in ½ cup broken raw walnuts when I initially mixed the dough.
